Hypnotherapy is fantastic for a vast range of physical and emotional health issues, as well as personal development and life goals, such as improving sports performance, confidence in public speaking, and success at work.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)

EMDR is an exciting and powerful technique for resolving a wide range of issues and health problems rapidly and permanently.  It is recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) as a treatment of choice for post traumatic stress disorder.   It is quicker than and just as effective as cognitive behavioural therapy for post traumatic stress, and is being used, with success, for an increasing range of issues, such as chronic pain and phobias.

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)

Neuro linguistic programming is a powerful tool to understanding and aiding communication and thought processes, helping us improve relationships, think positively and realistically, and to work towards our dreams and goals.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy is a state registered and protected title.  Occupational therapists work with people with physical, mental health and social needs to enable them to build skills and develop the roles and lifestyles they wish, in a holistic and client centred way, through the use of therapeutic and everyday activity.

Solution Focused Brief Therapy

Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is an effective therapy which enables you to focus on strengths and resources rather than difficulties; on the future as you would like it to be.   It has links with NLP and hypnosis; I use solution focused techniques frequently in my work with clients.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

I use CBT techniques as part of therapy, finding them helpful to identify thought patterns and beliefs which may be holding you back.  CBT is an effective therapy, recognised by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) for many common mental health issues, such as depression, phobias and anxiety.  The basic premise of CBT is that negative thoughts lead to negative feelings and behaviours.  However, my personal view is that for many people, it is negative feelings, such as low mood, that lead to distressing thoughts and associated behaviours.  CBT can be combined with hypnosis for many problems; something I have specific training in.

Sensory Attachment Intervention

Sensory Attachment Intervention (SAI) is an occupational therapy intervention, based on the latest neuroscience research.  It can be really effective for children and young people with attachment difficulties, autistic spectrum conditions, dyspraxia and sensory processing difficulties, and provide you with practical everyday strategies and activities to reduce the impact of these difficulties.
